We are now back in France and I really do love it here and am sorry to leave so soon.  I just wanted to wrap up the end of our time in Africa with some accolades and "thank you's" for you who have read my blog, prayed for us, or supported us financially.
We truly couldn't have done it without you, and I wanted you to know what you were a part of by helping us in our time here.

#1. All the boys that get up every morning before the sun to study the Koran now know who Jesus Christ really is.. they have been given food, protection and unconditional love; all in the name of Jesus.

#2. Over 1 thousand people (possibly much more) heard the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, were helped, loved, or touched by it in some way. All this was done thru sketches, the Jesus film, door to door evangelism, personal testimonies and/or Bible teaching.

#3. Over 1 hundred Muslim boys now have a mat to sleep on instead of hard concrete.

They live together to be trained in Islam, but arn't fed or clothed or taken care of other than being taught the Koran and a roof over their heads. Many of the boys are beaten and possibly sexually abused.

This was only one of 6 "darah's" in the area (there are many more). These men are the boys' "Marabous" and they live with them.  This day we told the Marabous that we came to give the boys mats to sleep on in Jesus's name.  They were extremely touched by this act and  thanked us and expressed their gratitude for helping their disciples.

#4. The same Muslim boys now know some French, some English, how to say letters in these languages and maybe even write a little.
This was the day I taught in the Talibe Center. This is where they have heard daily teachings about the Bible and are given food, soap to wash, and detergent to clean their clothes.  The young boy standing is translating the Bible story into another native tongue for his comrades.

#5. At least 6 people entered into the Kingdom of God and will be forever saved.

#6. hundreds of people were prayed for, or ministered to in their time of need, or we prayed with them.
Thank you so much for helping send us to do this work. We want you to know how grateful we are to you and how much we know that without your help, we couldn't have done this.

                                                    Thank you!

  1. Good to see you on here again. I can't wait to help organize everything you have done and learned so you can prepare for whatever is next for you two.
